The Crush Up pavilion is a construction that was made from the waste produced by the Institut für Architektur. It was first assembled for the IfA Ausstellung 2022. The first assembly was certainly complicated and time consuming.
However, last November we had the opportunity to reassemble the pavilion for the Klima Festival. We took advantage of this second occasion to optimize the assembly method, designing and manufacturing a deployable scaffolding that greatly facilitated the task.
The aim of this short intensive seminar is to reassemble the CrushUp pavilion for this year’s IfA Ausstellung using the deployable scaffolding, to communicate the latest progress made in this still alive research project.
