SCALES & METHODOLOGIES

The goal of this course is to analyze the properties of architectural types through the specific transformation of multiplying.

We will analyze a collection of case studies consisting of built architectural examples, which share the functional program of “Living spaces”.

We expect to deal with spatial and material characteristics that are more sensitive to the type condition such as: spatial structure, mechanical structure, construction system, flows of users and facilities, but we also would like to discover others that in parallel configure the definition of one type.
